International Visiting Scholars
Program
The International Visiting Scholars Program is designed for
select physicians who practice medicine in other countries and
have a strong desire to learn about pediatric medicine with the
aim of promoting the improvement of pediatric health care in
their home countries. In addition, the program seeks to develop
and strengthen clinical, educational and research relationships
between Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine
and international institutions, public and private.

International Colloquium
Physicians from the international community join pediatric
specialists and sub specialists at Texas Children's Hospital to
discuss the latest developments in pediatric medicine and
research. Attendees participate in an academic program as well
as focused, collaborative clinical discussion with leaders in
pediatrics from Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of
Medicine.

International Speakers’ Bureau
A team of physicians and healthcare professionals from Texas
Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine commit to
share their knowledge and advance effective, evidence-based
practices through active participation in the leading forums on
global child health.
