Texas Children's Hospital is an internationally recognized full-care pediatric hospital
located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
- Renowned worldwide for its expertise and breakthrough developments
in clinical care and research, Texas Children's is nationally ranked in all 10 subspecialties in U.S.News & World Report's 2009 list of America's Best Children's
Hospitals. It is one of only 10 hospitals nationwide to achieve the Honor Roll status.
- Since opening its doors in 1954, Texas Children's Hospital has
cared for more than one million children from every corner of the world and has
more than 1.5 million patient encounters annually.
- The hospital's Centers of Excellence – Texas Children's
Cancer Center, Texas Children's Heart Center, Texas Children's Newborn Center
and Texas Children's Fetal Center – are leading their fields with programs and

- The Texas Children's Hospital medical staff consists of more than

Vision 2010, which includes the Dan and Jan Duncan Neurological Research Institute, the Feigin Center expansion,
a comprehensive obstetrics facility focusing on high-risk births and a community
hospital in suburban West Houston.
- Texas Children's capital campaign, Heal Sick Children, has raised more than $347 million for the advancement of patient care, education and research at Texas Children's Hospital.
