Parking lots and garages near Texas Children's Hospital are operated by the Texas Medical Center Parking Services. Parking is available at the following Texas Medical Center facilities:

Garage 1 - On Fannin between Texas Children’s Hospital and Methodist Hospital. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Garage 2 - On the corner of Holcombe Blvd. and Richard J.V. Johnson Ave. Open 24 hours a day,
7 days a week.

Garage 12 - Under the West Tower at 6621 Fannin St., entrance via Fannin St. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Garage 16 - Under the Clinical Care Center at 6701 Fannin St., entrance via Fannin St. to Bates. Open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday from
5 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Cost for Garage Parking
Garages 1, 2, 12 and 16 charge $2 for the first 20 minutes with gradual increases up to $12 per 24-hour period.

Prepaid  SmartChips (valid only at Garages 12 and 16)
Pre-paid SmartChips provide discounted parking rates and unlimited in-and-out privileges at Garages 12 and 16. They can be purchased at the pay stations in the elevator lobbies on the B2 levels in these two garages.

There are 2 options available:

1) $52 Pre-paid SmartChip - $60 in parking value
2) $100 Pre-paid SmartChip - $115 in parking value

Both the $52 and $100 Pre-paid SmartChips are activated upon your next visit after purchase. There are no expiration dates. A maximum of $12 will be debited from your Pre-paid SmartChips for each calendar day (midnight to midnight) parked at either Garage 12 or 16.

Discounted Offsite Parking
Garage 8, located at 2151 W. Holcombe Blvd. and Pressler St., offers additional parking and is serviced by the Blue TMC METROshuttle (2 – 3 block walk). The shuttle stop is on Pressler St. and passengers must show the driver their blue SmartChip for free access. The shuttle operates between 5 a.m. and midnight and stops on Fannin St. at Bellows Drive in front of Texas Children’s Hospital. The shuttle does not operate on weekends. The maximum parking cost per day is $6.

Additional parking is also available at the South Extension Parking Lot (Brown Lot) via the White TMC METRO Shuttle, and is located at 1522 S. Braeswood and William C. Harvin Blvd. The maximum fee is $6 a day. The shuttle stops on Bertner at Bates about half a block from Texas Children's and operates weekdays between 4:30 a.m. and midnight free of charge. The shuttle does not operate on weekends.

You may also park in Metro’s Fannin South Lot, which is located on Fannin St. just outside the 610 loop behind Sam’s Club. The parking fee is $3 and to get to Texas Children’s, ride the Metro Rail for $1.25 each way and exit the train at the Dryden/TMC stop.

Valet Parking
Valet parking is available for Texas Children’s Hospital at the West Tower entrance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and at the Clinical Care Center from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a flat $13 charge for each 24-hour period. Once your vehicle is parked, there is no in-and-out access to the garage.

Patient and Visitor Parking and Patient Drop-off
Self-parking and valet parking in the West Tower and Clinical Care Center is reserved exclusively for patients, parents and visitors.
