Radio Lollipop Celebrates 10th Birthday
Texas Children’s
patients and volunteers joined a host of fun characters and veteran
DJ’s to celebrate Radio Lollipop’s 10th birthday.
Partygoers took to the 16th floor to share in an
afternoon of fun, games and two special broadcast presentations by
Radio Lollipop’s 10-year veterans Kaptain Kurt, Dingy Debbie and
Lollipop Loranda.
Clowns Snickerdoodle
and Sweetie, Toro from the Houston Texans, Nero from Houston’s
Downtown Aquarium and Katie Kangaroo helped celebrate in style,
while party guests, donning face paint and Radio Lollipop Tattoos,
made crafts, played games and danced to Living La Vida Loca.
22 Radio Lollipop
volunteers took time out to help celebrate Radio Lollipop’s 10th
birthday then made goodie bags filled with candy, prizes and crafts
to bring patients who were unable to come.
