The Simulation Center at Texas Children's Hospital features both male and female
high-fidelity simulators to recreate realistic neonatal, obstetric and pediatric
clinical scenarios. These simulators include:
Laerdal SimBaby™
SimBaby™ is the advanced infant patient simulator for team training. With
realistic anatomy and clinical functionality, SimBaby allows learners to practice
and perfect their skills in a risk-free environment.
Laerdal SimNewB™
SimNewB™ is an interactive simulator, designed by Laerdal with the American
Academy of Pediatrics to meet the training requirements of the NRP. With realistic
newborn traits and lifelike clinical feedback, SimNewB™ is ideal for training
for the specific needs of neonates.
Laerdal SimMan® 3G
SimMan® is a portable and advanced patient simulator for team training. SimMan®
has realistic anatomy and clinical functionality, allowing learners to practice
the emergency treatment of patients.
Guamard Newborn HAL® Mobile Team Trainer
Newborn HAL® Mobile Team Trainer is a state-of-the-art pediatric simulator with
lifelike newborn traits for team training. With programmable features and clinical
feedback, Newborn HAL® gives learners the ability to apply their skills in a
real-time, risk-free environment.
Guamard S550 NOELLE™ Maternal and Neonatal Birthing Simulator
This comprehensive teaching system combines the best of Guamard's patient care simulators
with the Advanced Childbirth Simulator. It is designed to provide a complete birthing
